February 28, 2017: RE100 webinar on variable tariff calculation for solar power in India - Is solar electricity cost competitive with electricity from a utility? What tariff is best for me if I opt for solar electricity from a third party generator? How much I can save by using solar electricity? This RE100 markets and policy webinar will cover an introduction to India’s variable tariff, understanding of its structure, a simple excel based tool to calculate it, and case studies from Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu states. 

March 9, 2017: 'Renewable energy and the low carbon economy', Brussels, Belgium - This breakfast event organised by IKEA Group will look at whether the EU's 'Winter Package' goes far enough to deliver the policy framework needed to enable companies to make long-term investments in clean technologies and deliver on the Paris Agreement. RE100 will moderate the discussion.

March 21-22, 2017: RECs Market Meeting 2007, Amsterdam, The Netherlands - This year’s RECS Market Meeting will focus on the demand-side of the electricity market. The event will look at the EU Renewable Energy Directive, U.S. PPA growth, tracking mechanisms, and market changes in India, the UAE and Brazil. The event is expected to draw 300 leading European renewable procurement experts. Speakers include Sam Kimmins, Head of RE100 at The Climate Group.

March 22/23, 2017: In focus: China’s 13th Five-Year Plan – renewable energy - This webinar, available in English and Mandarin, will explore China's renewable energy policy landscape, identifying recent power sector reforms and highlighting opportunities for corporate sourcing of renewables through onsite generation and purchasing.

March 2017 (date TBC): RE100 technical support webinar - credible claims - This RE100 webinar will help members to make credible claims around renewable electricity usage, following a report by the RE100 Technical Advisory Group last year. The webinar will be aimed at companies that have joined the campaign in the last six months. Invitations to follow to all members.

June 6-8, 2017– CEM8, Beijing, China - China will host the eighth Clean Energy Ministerial, the annual meeting of energy ministers from 24 member countries and the European Union. RE100 will be taking part.

September 18-24, 2017– Climate Week NYC, U.S. – After a remarkable year in international politics and climate action, Climate Week NYC will gather leaders from business and government to demonstrate how continued investment in innovation, technology and clean energy will drive profitability and lead us towards a net-zero emissions global economy. RE100 will be taking part. 

October 12, 2017: RE-Source 2017, Brussels, Belgium – this event is organised by SolarPower Europe and Wind Europe, in collaboration with RE100. It will bring together renewable energy buyers and sellers to explore topics such as the business case for renewables, legal and finance issues, and best practice.  RE100 will be speaking at this event. 

November 6-17, 2017: UNFCCC COP 23, Bonn, Germany - The 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP23) to the UN Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will be organized by Fiji and hosted at the headquarters of the UNFCCC Secretariat. RE100 will be taking part.
